A year ago, the Women's International Zionist Organization (WIZO) in South Florida, USA decided to implement an environmental campaign with all its members as a token of appreciation to South Florida by planting a the for each family that calls South Florida their home.



But always keeping Israel in their hearts, for each tree planted in the Million Trees Miami project, a seed has been sent to Israel to start the Nir Haemek Greenhouse to help with Israel's ongoing reforestation efforts.



​This annual project has become a pride for the Jewish community of South Florida and each year around February a new forest is created with the help of all family members.
